Four people have died and 52 have been arrested. Fourteen police officers were wounded, three of them seriously, when Congress broke in for the first time since 1814.
The woman who was shot by security guards has been identified as a Trump supporter and Air Force veteran Ashli Babbitt (35).

The American media has identified the woman who was among those who entered Congress and was later shot to death as Trump supporter Ashli Babbitt.
She is said to live in San Diego, California, and according to local San Diego television station KUSI, she is said to have been employed in the US Air Force for 14 years.

She has been sent four times on an assignment for the US Air Force, the US Air Force, without her being known at the time she served, the television channel reports, according to The Independent.

“Nothing can stop us. You can try and try, but the storm is here and it will hit DC in less than 24 hours … from darkness to light,” he was supposed to have written Tuesday.

According to The Independent, preliminary reports may indicate that Babbitt had stepped into Congress through a window. It shouldn’t have looked armed.
According to the Washington Post, one hears on the video that a shot is fired inside Congress before a woman with a Trump banner around her neck falls to the ground.
The woman was evacuated from the building on a stretcher, writes the newspaper, which writes that her upper body and face were covered in blood.
Babbitt was confirmed dead from gunshot wounds Wednesday night. The death will be investigated by the police.
The other three who died are said to have died for “medical reasons,” without further specification.
