Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjær re-enacts the historic encounter with Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League group stage match. There he also meets Alexander Sørloth and Fredrik Gulbrandsen after what turned into a nightmare draw.
It was against the French champion that Solskjær had the greatest achievement of his career at Manchester United to date on March 6, 2019.
By then, the Red Devils had lost 0-2 at home, but miraculously won 3-1 away in what is called the “Paris miracle”, and became the first team to recover a two-goal loss from home.
Only three weeks later, the Norwegian was permanently employed by the great English club.

Nightmare drawing
In addition to PSG, RB Leipzig and Istanbul Basaksehir finished in Group H with Manchester United. This means that Alexander Sørloth and former Molde player Fredrik Gulbrandsen will try to defeat Solskjær in the group match.
– It is one of two or three groups where there may be doubts about who passes. This is going to be tricky. Leipzig is tough to face, and that requires them to be very prepared, says VG expert Tor-Kristian Karlsen, with a long career as a sporting director on the continent.
Group H thus becomes a real nightmare group, with a finalist and a semi-finalist from the previous edition of the Champions League, as well as the great club Manchester United and the champions of the Turkish league.

The top seeds, Real Madrid and Martin Ødegaard, for their part, drew with Shakhtar Donetsk, Inter and Borussia Mönchengladbach, while Erling Braut Haaland and second seed Borussia Dortmund will compete against Zenit Saint Petersburg , Lazio and the Club Brugge.
– It’s a pretty decent group for Real Madrid. Haaland’s group is very close and Zenit is stronger than in a few years in my opinion, but Dortmund is a small favorite, says Karlsen.
The two most important Norwegian player profiles thus received a much more favorable draw than their Norwegian counterpart.
It was a “Norwegian bonanza” in the Champions League draw, with many characteristics from across Europe.
