Mislav Orsic became the great hero of the Croats with three goals, two of which were beautiful. It happened after a few dramatic days for the club. Just two days before the game, coach Zoran Mamic had to resign after being sentenced to four years and eight months in prison, Reuters reported.

Mamic was convicted of fraud and former Dinamo Zagreb player Damir Krznar assumed responsibility for the team.

Still, they swept Totteham and won 3-0.

For the edge, Orsic was not swayed by the drama. He first screwed a beautiful ball into the longest center from a distance, before easily making it 2-0 just before the end.

And in the last extra round he found magic again. He dribbled three Tottenham players in a beautiful way and jingled the ball into the nearest corner. Thus, he took Tottenham down on his own and took Dinamo further into the Europa League.

After the game, Tottenham manager José Mourinho was very critical of his own players.

– My team did not seem to play an important game. For me it is an important game, all games are important. And I think for all Tottenham fans at home, every game is important. Other configuration is required. Saying sorry is not enough, Spurs coach José Mourinho told BT Sports after the game.

In an interview that lasted eight minutes, he spent much of his time criticizing the attitude of the team.

– On behalf of my team, although some of them do not share my feelings, I can only apologize to the Tottenham fans. And I hope my players feel the same, he continued.

Totteham didn’t seem to wake up properly until ten minutes into the last extra inning. Both Gareth Bale and Harry Kane had huge chances, but both were stopped by a masterful Dominik Livakovic in Dinamo’s goal, with just a few minutes left on the clock.

– If I forget about the last ten minutes of the extra innings, where we really did something to move forward, then only one team chose to give it their all. Sorry, a team, which is not my team, won on set. Before the game, I told the players about the risk of a bad attitude. During the break, at 0-0, I talked about the risk of playing the way we play. And yet it happened, Mourinho insisted.
