(Everton 1-0 Chelsea) Gylfi Sigurdsson (31) scored from a penalty and secured weak Everton a long-awaited victory against Chelsea who had to settle for three metal finals.

2,000 spectators returned to Goodison Park, and saw the visiting team have three finishes in the metal around goalkeeper Jordan Pickford, who kept a clean sheet for the first time this season since the series opener against Tottenham.
At first, Reece James shot well, but Pickford put his fingers on the ball and pushed it toward the post.
At the start of the second half, Mason Mount threw the ball over Pickford, who was away, but the ball landed on top of the crossbar.
Mount also had a shot off the post ten minutes before the end when he fired on a free throw that Pickford was nowhere near behind.
P.S.! With the loss, Chelsea can finish five points behind league leaders Tottenham, and Liverpool in second place, if they win their matches on Sunday. Everton are now just two points behind Chelsea.
