With a real shopping spree in the transfer window, there was probably a lot of excitement about who got the chance to play for Chelsea in this year’s Premier League opener. In addition to Kai Havertz, newcomer Timo Werner came straight into the squad against Brighton, and Frank Lampard’s new star player quickly distinguished himself by taking a penalty from Chelsea.
