When a house fire broke out in Ringerike, the owner asked emergency services to save several stuffed animals from the flames.
On Tuesday night, a fire broke out at a single family home in Ringerike. The house quickly caught fire and the extinguishing work continued into the evening.
All residents left the house, but one person was sent to the emergency room for a checkup after inhaling smoke.
Something that had not come out, however, was the stuffed predators in the house, writes Ringerikes Blad.
They write that the owner contacted rescue teams Tuesday night and asked them to save two bears, a cougar and a lynx.
They did it.

PREDATORS: A lynx and a cougar were among the stuffed animals rescued by rescue teams.
Fire service operations chief Tor Erik Jenshagen confirmed the request to Ringerikes Blad on Wednesday night.
– Yes, there were some stuffed animals. A couple of bears, a lynx and a cougar who kindly asked us if we could take out. We’ve done it.
He tells the newspaper that they are not often asked about such things.
– It’s not that common, at least not that kind of animal. But of course it has great value to him, and then we do it, said the task leader.
The stuffed predators can cost tens of thousands of crowns to both stop and buy.
