– USA Gymnastics can confirm that the hearing related to Maggie Haney has ended. The independent panel, with three members of the gym, including an attorney, the club owner and a former teammate, has concluded that Haney has violated the rules of ethical behavior, sports policy and other rules of the USA Gymnastics, the association says.
After eight years of exclusion, you must apply to become a member again.

Karen Goeller, who is also a New Jersey gymnast, reveals unstable conditions. She was among those who provided information about Haney that led to the exclusion.
Goeller says the athletes were not allowed to talk about what happened in the training sessions.
“The children were afraid to speak,” he says, according to the New York Times.
The coach must also have threatened those who wish to testify against him.
Among those who have testified against him are Olympic gold winner Laurie Hernández and world champion Riley McCusker.
The complaints against Haney began in May last year, according to the New York Times.
