At least six of those infected by the corona outbreak around the US president, including Donald Trump himself, attended a ceremony in the White House’s Rose Garden last Saturday.
United States President Donald Trump is now hospitalized at Walter Reed Military Hospital due to a covid-19 infection.
After Trump was rushed to the hospital late Friday night, there are still reports of people around him testing positive.
During the past week, Trump attended various events, including Tuesday’s presidential debate, two election campaign meetings, and the ceremony at which Amy Coney Barrett was nominated as a Supreme Court justice.
A total of nine people associated with the events are now infected, including Donald Trump, Melania Trump and their adviser Hope Hicks. Six of them attended the ceremony in the Rose Garden of the White House.
Squeezing Rosehagen
On Saturday, September 26, Trump nominated Judge Amy Coney Barrett as a candidate to take over the vacant post of Supreme Court Justice after the late Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
Photos and videos of the event show close contact and squeeze between the participants.
Among others, now-infected Utah Senator Mike Lee and former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie have been filmed squeezing people at the event. None of them wore a mask.
More than 200 people attended the event. Among them were the director of the American University of Notre Dame, John I. Jenkins, Senators Mike Lee and Thom Tillis. In addition, the president’s former political adviser, Kellyanne Conway, was present at the ceremony.
All four have now tested positive for the coronavirus. In addition, Donald and Melania Trump participated.

Stepien traveled with Trump to and from Cleveland aboard Air Force One with Trump in connection with Tuesday’s debate. Also on board the plane was Advisor Hicks.
Vice President Mike Pence and his wife Karen Pence tested negative. He also has Trump’s daughter, Ivanka Trump.

At the hospital
Trump was admitted to Walter Reed Military Hospital on Friday night.
