Jens Petter Hauge (20) has signed a five-year contract with Italian Milan. The Norwegian received suit number 15 and can already make his Serie A debut on Sunday.

Hauge has been in Milan since Tuesday. There, the 20-year-old, among other things, conducted various tests and negotiated his personal contract in collaboration with agent Atta Aneke.

Now the deal has been signed, the clubs confirm. This means that Hauge is leaving Bodø / Glimt and is ready to play for Milan for the next five years.

– It feels very good, and no less very correct, Hauge tells the Glimt website.

“AC Milan is pleased to announce the signing of Jens Petter Hauge from Bodø / Glimt on a permanent contract. The Norwegian attacker has signed a contract with “Rossoneri” until June 30, 2025. “informs the Italians.

– Incredibly fun

Hauge says he has had a very good impression of Milan and the club’s people during his two days in Italy so far. Now the shopkeeper is looking forward to playing with Zlatan Ibrahimovic (38) and the rest of Milan’s gallery of stars.

– AC Milan is one of the biggest clubs in the world, with seven Champions League titles. It is a club that is made to win and that wants to win titles. I may be fine, says Hauge, before continuing:

– Of course I think it’s sad to leave Glimt. A club that I have been in for many years. It will be strange to leave the team now in the middle of the season, but both Glimt and I and AC Milan are very happy with the deal. Then it will be the best now.

The sports leader in Bodø / Glimt, Aasmund Bjørkan, is very happy on behalf of Hauge when VG talks to him.

– It’s an adventure. It’s incredibly fun for Jens Petter, but I think the whole city is very, very proud of him. After all, it is one of the biggest and coolest clubs in the world. It’s crazy, Bjørkan tells VG.

Do you think it will be successful?

Hauge has scored 14 times and provided eight goal assists in 18 games for Bodø / Glimt this season. In the Europa League game against Milan last week, he attended and scored again.

On Monday, the 20-year-old was rewarded with a spot in the A team for matches against Serbia (October 8), Romania (October 11) and Northern Ireland (October 14).

Milan’s debut can come at the San Siro against Spezia on Sunday at 6pm.

– As we saw Milan, he also fits well there. It’s not just that it’s a fun transition, but I think the chances of it succeeding there are good, says Bjørkan.
