On Monday, Oilers announced that Thirteen will continue his career in Switzerland. There he will now play for HC La Chaux-de-Fonds at level two.

– I really enjoy the oilers. It is always an honor to play for Oilers and Stavanger. We had a fantastic season and I really want to win again with this club, “said Trettenes in a press release posted on the Oilers Facebook page.

– Too bad for oilers

The Thirteen signed a one-year contract with the Oilers before this season that ended after the series was completed. The NM playoffs were canceled due to the coronary pandemic.

The oilers thank the Thirteen for this time and wish them luck in Switzerland.

– This is what Mathias deserves. He was one of the absolute best players in Get League last year and showed that he has an international level within him. You must now play the role that you are supposed to, and I am sure you will succeed in that role in Switzerland as well. Of course, it’s a shame for the Oilers that we lose Mathias. He defends all the correct values both on and off the ice, so for us it is a great loss. But this is the right career choice and I wish him the best of luck, ”says Oilers Sports Manager Pål Haukali Higson.

– Mathias is an experienced kid who can play both on the edge and in the center. It has an excellent shot and looks good for the game. With his professional attitude and indisputable skills, he will add a lot to the team, says Loïc Burkhalter, manager of La Chaux-de-Fonds, about his new player.

The Thirteen have signed a one-year agreement with the Swiss.
