So it’s about collecting weapons and equipment as you fight to stay as the remaining team. And all the time, the map is shrinking, making players get closer and closer.

2. PlayStation Now and Xbox Game Pass

“Netflix for gaming” is a common term for Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass subscriber service, available on PC Xbox One and Windows 10, and Sony’s PlayStation Now on PlayStation 4 and PC.

You pay just over a hundred dollars a month to access more than a hundred games on Game Pass and many more on PlayStation Now, which also includes PlayStation 2 and 3 games.

Huff, where are we going to limit ourselves? There have been a lot of amazing games on this generation of consoles, but unfortunately we can’t name them all. That’s why we’ve broken it up a bit: our own favorites and the top ten in Metacritic for each platform.

If Martin is going to release only one game, it has to be Hellblade: the sacrifice of Senua, which is available on Xbox One / PS4 / Switch / PC. The fantasy and action games are heavily inspired by Norse mythology and Celtic culture, and we follow Senua on his journey to Helheim as he battles his external and internal demons.

The exclusive role-playing and action game on PlayStation 4 “Horizon Zero Dawn” He is also a favorite with Martin. The game has several similarities to “Tomb Raider” games, and once we get into it, we will highlight “Rise of the Tomb Raider” as one of our favorite games of this generation. “Rise of the Tomb Raider” is available on Xbox One and PS4.

Another driving game we’ve had a lot of fun with is Trackmania Turbo. Platform games never go out of style, as Ubisoft has proven to go with “Rayman” games. Rayman Legends is one of the best 2D platform games of this generation of consoles, and also supports up to four simultaneous players.

Unfortunately we don’t have Norwegian games on our list, but our Finnish neighbors are represented “Control”. Remedy endorses one of Martin’s favorite games, namely “Alan Wake”, and the action game “Control” is almost as good.

And then we also have to add “War zone”, The Battle Royale mode in “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare”, which we enjoy daily. Probably our favorite BR.

4. Simple game recording

Now, we really miss automatically uploading the bragging videos to the cloud, but maybe it comes with PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X?

5. Cross platform

When talking about cross-platform while Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, Microsoft was the opponent, while Sony sat on its back when the gaming studio Psyonix attempted to get cross-platform in the popular “Rocket League”, which combines driving and soccer.

Fortunately, Sony made sense, and now friends on Xbox One and PlayStation 4, in addition to PC, can play and fight each other.

6. PlayStation VR
