Boris Johnson and his partner Carrie Symonds will name their son after doctors who treated the British Prime Minister for covid-19.
On Wednesday, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson became the father again. According to Sky News, Johnson and resident Carrie Symonds have now decided what their son’s name will be: Wilfred Lawrie Nicholas Johnson.
Nicholas’s name, according to Sky News and other British media, must be after the doctors who treated Johnson for covid-19. They are called Nick Hart and Nick Price.
– Nicholas’s name is in honor of Dr. Nick Price and Dr. Nick Hart, the two doctors who saved Boris’s life last month, Symonds writes on Instagram, according to British media.
Wilfred’s name is named after the Prime Minister’s grandfather, while Lawrie is the name of one of Symond’s grandparents.
“I couldn’t have been happier,” Carrie writes on Instagram.
Boris Johnson was on sick leave for almost a month on covid-19. He was admitted to University College Hospital in early April, but returned to work as Prime Minister on Monday, April 27.
On Wednesday, he took a break from work and was present when the son was born.
