Erling Braut Haalands (20) Borussia Dortmund are in very bad shape in the battle to participate in the Champions League next season. John Arne Riise believes Haaland will leave the club.
– I think Haaland will leave regardless of whether it is the Champions League or not. Haaland was left scoreless for the fourth time in a row when Dortmund lost the key game against Eintracht Frankfurt 1-2. Frankfurt in fourth place (the last to host Champions League matches) is now seven points ahead of Dortmund in fifth place with seven games to play.
On Thursday, speculation about Haaland’s future caught fire after his father Alfie and agent Mino Raiola visited both Barcelona and Real Madrid. Several experts believe that the possibility of a Haaland farewell at Dortmund increases if the Champions League is broken.
– I think there is a small factor in this, but I also think that Alfie and Raiola think of the total package. It will be interesing. It is on everyone’s lips. Haaland has a contract with Dortmund until 2024. Recently, Haaland was asked what qualities are important when choosing a club.
