Police have confirmed the identity of five of those killed after the landslide in Gjerdrum.
Lisbeth Neraas (54), Bjørn-Ivar Grymyr Jansen (40), Alma Grymyr Jansen (2), Eirik Grønolen (31) and, more recently, Marius Brustad (29), have been confirmed dead in the avalanche in Gjerdrum, according to the Police press release Sunday night.
On Saturday three dead were found in the avalanche. On Sunday, the police announced the names of the three. It’s Lisbeth Neraas (54 years old), Bjørn-Ivar Grymyr Jansen (40) and Alma Grymyr Jansen (2).
On Sunday, three people were also found dead in the landslides. The name of one of them was announced on Sunday night. The deceased is Marius Brustad, 29 years old.
Marius Brustad (29) was at home visiting his mother Lisbeth Neraas (54) at Nystulia 42 at Christmas when the landslide lasted until the night of December 30. Lisbeth Neraas was found on January 2. Marius Brustad was found on Sunday, January 3.
Bjørn-Ivar Grymyr Jansen and his daughter Alma (2) have disappeared along with Charlot Grymyr Jansen, who is Bjørn-Ivar Grymyr Jansen’s wife and Alma’s mother. It is not known if Charlot Grymyr Jansen is among those found after the landslide.
All three were at their home in Nystulia 39 when the landslide occurred. Together with his wife, Bjørn-Ivar Grymyr Jansen, he was expecting a new child in February. Alma and Bjørn-Ivar Grymyr Jansen were found on January 2.
Police came out on Saturday with the name of one of the dead. Eirik Grønolen was the first to be found dead in the avalanche. He was found on January 1.
According to Romerikes Blad, Grønolen lived with his partner and a dog in the residential area of Ask. Your partner and your dog must be safe.
Seven people have been found dead after the landslide that occurred on the night of Wednesday, December 30. In other words, there are two people to whom the police have not disclosed their identities. Three people have not yet been counted.
Keep working tonight
Search teams have repeated throughout Sunday that they are still searching for survivors of the landslide disaster.
– There are very demanding working conditions in the landslide zone for those who work there. We are still in an active search for survivors and we are in a rescue operation until it is decided otherwise, repeats Bjørn Christian Willersrud in the police during a press conference from Gjerdrum at 9 pm.
Rescuers are planning to conduct further searches tonight and tonight, and have noted that there are sufficient crew and resources to continue the work in the future.
“We plan to maintain the same pressure in the future, and we have planned until Monday night in the first instance,” the operations manager said early Sunday.

Seven dead
During the press conference held at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday night, the police reported that a new discovery had been made of a dead person after the landslide. Seven people have been found dead.
– The latest news in the rescue operation is that at 17:27 we found a person in the landslide area. Sadly, the person has been confirmed dead at the scene, Bjørn Christian Willersrud told police at 7:00 p.m.
– The deceased was found after very good cooperation between the police intelligence service, police dogs and USAR crews. These are very demanding conditions to work in the landslide area, Willersrud said.

Air bags give hope
It has also been noted above that they can still find survivors, as it may be the air pockets in the area of the slide that make it possible.
– There may be insulated air bags. That is why we maintain that there is a possibility of finding survivors, said the head of health operations, Fritjof Heyerdahl, during the press conference on Sunday afternoon.
He could not answer about how long the state lasts that it is a rescue operation.
