Jens Petter Hauge (21) steals the headlines again after an AC Milan match.
On Thursday night, the Northerner scored his third goal in the Europa League for the great Italian club.
It was a goal taken from Hauge’s book: he received the ball far on the left edge, cut into the field, made a cheeky tunnel over Tomas Wiesner, carried the ball further into the field and spread it between the legs of Martin Vitik, passing the Milan goalkeeper Heca and in the far corner.
After the 1-0 victory over Sparta Prague, where his compatriot Andreas Vindheim rested, Hauge is named the best player on the field by the daily Gazzetta dello Sport.
– JP serves another gem. The most beautiful thing is that he invented it out of nowhere. Hit two tunnels on one goal, the newspaper writes as a reason for giving the Norwegian 7/10 on the stock market.
In his analysis of the party, journalist Fabio Licari writes the following about Hauge:
– It’s too fast for all defenders. It was his fourth goal of the season. One thought strikes me: what if Milan hadn’t met Bodø / Glimt on their way?
He points out that it was the performance against Milan at San Siro that convinced the Italians to pay for Hauge.
Hauge is also named the best player on the field in the Corriere dello Sport newspaper. They give you 7/10 in the bag.
– A real gem, writes columnist Franco Ordine in his commentary on the party.
– When we met Hauge as an opponent, he already showed what he could do, so we hoped that he could continue like that with us. It is not complete yet, so it can improve further, but we are very happy with the performance, Milan coach Stefano Pioli tells Sky Sport Italia.

– I think his best quality is when he dribbles one by one. He’s faster with the ball than without, but I think he should vary more and improve by running behind defenders to get the ball. You can’t always challenge them like this.
– He has many areas to improve, such as his focus on defense during the 90 minutes, but we saw his qualities and the club did very well when they signed such an interesting talent, says Pioli.
