The duel between Carlsen and So was decided in two blitzkrieg matches after Monday’s opening four rapid chess matches ended 2-2.

Monday’s duel was the last of several between the two chess games. Carlsen and So. The Norwegian defeated the American in an online tournament at the end of September, while So defeated Carlsen in the final of the Fischer Chess World Cup in Høvik in November last year.
