In 2019, comedian Christine Koht (53) received the devastating message that she had cancer. The year before, he had surgery to remove a benign tumor, but then it turned out that he had a form of cancer that was very difficult to treat.
Since then, the population of Norway has been able to closely follow the course of his illness, where he has regularly shared updates on how he is doing.

With good humor and bubbly energy, he has conquered the Norwegian people, despite several harsh treatments.
Now she has recently been hospitalized for the ninth time.

Now he speaks openly in an interview with Dagbladet, where he can say, among other things, that he feels in good shape right now, but can change quickly.
There she also reveals that she always has her suitcase packed and ready with everything she needs, in case it turns out that she has to be admitted on short notice. When he entered this time, he reveals that three doctors entered the hospital room with serious faces.

– When they entered I thought: “Excuse me, am I dying tonight?” Then they said I have white staph in my blood and they have to put me on antibiotics right away because they can get to my heart valves. It can be very dangerous, he explains.

One of the things that stands out in the interview is the good doctors who have cared for her over the years. She also adds that one of the things that has saved her has been all the support she has received.
As mentioned, the Norwegian people have been able to follow the cheerful comedian through treatment, illness and hospital visits. Even though it’s been tough times, she tells Dagbladet that being nice is worth it and that it has served as something of a catchphrase for her through illness.

New operation
In a Facebook post last week, the cancer comedian wrote that she was going to have surgery. Before the weekend, Koht’s wife, Pernille Rygg, confirmed that the neck operation had gone well and that the comedian could go home.
– The operation went well, so Christine will leave this weekend, Rygg said then.
As mentioned, the popular comedian has given regular updates on how she and her health are doing in recent years, and the Facebook posts have received a lot of attention.
“I have told Pernille every day for the last 10 days: ‘I REFUSE to be hospitalized again. Now I want peace to start knitting. I DO NOT WANT to enter for the ninth time since August. And if so, you have to call the police to get me out. “But then what happens? Here I am again,” he wrote on social media Thursday last week.
