BODØ (VG) (Bodø / Glimt – Rosenborg 5–1) The two-day gold match missed Bodø / Glimt, who joined the fireworks in Aspmyra, and responded with a heidundrendes soccer match against Rosenborg .
If anyone thought Bodø / Glimt would disappear after securing the league championship in Drammen last weekend, then they thought completely wrong.
RBK was crushed 5-1. Philip Zinckernagel had one goal and three assists.

An incredible achievement by the Dane and the local team. Especially after a week when the drinks weren’t just water, and a historic gold got its due festivities afterward.
– Did you celebrate last weekend, but it didn’t seem like it today?
– Maybe we should drink like this every week, says Zinckernagel, with a twinkle in his eye, to VG.
Kjetil Knutsen believes that the fact that they went out for a couple of days was the reason why a new one arrived, in another form, on Sunday.
– I think that was exactly what they needed, to let go of emotions. They have worked very hard all year and that may be the trigger for them to achieve that achievement today, says the boss.
It was somewhat symbolic that the historic and proud Rosenborg was on guard of honor when the gold winner stepped onto the carpet tonight.
After the game, they got a little bite from the club:
– I think it was fantastic for Rosenborg to stand up and applaud us. I hope and believe that this helped introduce a new practice in Norwegian football. This was a special day, Knutsen said.
600 spectators in Aspmyra contributed an exquisite atmosphere. When the players came out under a banner with the inscription “2000 Series Champion”, the atmosphere was total, completely moving.
Danish dynamite
Although Dino Islamovic and Rosenborg were able to take the lead within two minutes, had plenty of ball and looked fresh in the opening, they were once again victims of Bodø / Glimt’s surprising counterattack strength.
– It’s so beautiful, exclaimed TV Norway commentator Kenneth Fredheim when Danish Philip Zinckernagel once again found compatriot Kasper Junker with a pole from the right after a quick transition.
The end was cash in the network at 1-0.

The waitress didn’t stop. Six minutes later, Zinckernagel struck again and former RBK junior player Ola Solbakken intercepted the ball and put it very well on Andre Hansen. The Trøndelag man in yellow cheered, the Trøndelag man in white cheered.
32 goals from Zinckernagel, then surpassed Veigar Páll Gunnarsson’s 31 in 2007. He scored two more.
– Another world
The Danish super winger stepped into the title role after 78 minutes of play. The 25-year-old fooled everyone with a good shot that slipped into the left corner.
– I aimed at Kasper (Junker), he said with a malicious smile.
A season as extreme as Bodø / Glimt’s in 2020 brings with it a record run like no other in Norwegian football. With the 3-0 goal, he broke the 1997 goalscoring record of opponent Rosenborg. This was Glimt’s 88th goal this year. Numbers 89 and 90 were yet to come.
In the 83rd minute, Dino Islamovic came in from the right, feinted and sped over the lopsided defender to make it 1 – 0, giving FC the lead. Zinckernagel responded with a very good preparation, but left the shot to Vegard Leikvoll Moberg who with his first kick to the ball hammered it 4-1.
Morten Konradsen scored 5-1 behind André Hansen shortly after. Thank you for the last time, from the player who was weighed too much at Trønder club in 2018.
– This victory shows everyone that we deserve the gold, says Zinckernagel, and thanks the fans for the framework that was made around the game.
Knutsen points out that the image of the game also suited the home team very well.
– We must always look behind the result. We are a bit lucky to keep a clean sheet until halftime. That we have two points is not something to say, there were two class scores. In the second half, they have to move forward and then we get great rooms. It suits Bodø / Glimt very well, says Glimt’s trainer.
Rosenborg fails
The results do not go with Rosenborg. They are fighting for a medal and fourth place that ensures qualification for the European Cup next year. But now they have lost three in a row. For Viking, Brann and Bodø / Glimt.
This is in stark contrast to the existence of RBK coach Åge Hareide as coach of the Danish national team, where he chased the world record in most matches without losing. After a good start to his second stint as RBK boss, it is now the first time in eight years that the 67-year-old has lost three in a row. He lost five in a row to Helsingborg in August-September 2012.
Also at RBK eight years have passed since such a series.
– I’m a bit embarrassed of the club. It will not happen that Rosenborg lose 5-1 in the Eliteserien. The previous two games are a bit special, and today it’s probably not so bad until 2-0, but then we got the third against and after that we can’t “close the shop”, says Rosenborg goalkeeper André Hansen, and he thinks it shows where Rosenborg is now.
Åge Hareide believes that “the team lacks self-confidence”.
– It is important to reposition the base. Today we have produced enough opportunities, but we are fighting on both ends of the field and we have to do well.
Rosenborg is now in fourth place, with Kristiansund two points behind. Fourth place will give games in Europe, and Hareide is ready for Rosenborg to do so.
– I will do it. We have enough games left to fix it, and we will do that, says the coach.
