Doctors must have determined cause of death. Diego Maradona has now moved to the presidential palace in Buenos Aires so that the grieving Argentines can say goodbye for good.
Argentina’s largest morning newspaper, Clarín, writes that Diego Maradona had an autopsy performed on Wednesday night and that the first report of the death is ready.
It should be noted that the former soccer star died of heart failure, a broken heart and acute pulmonary edema. The report also indicates that no criminal activity is suspected in connection with the death of the 60-year-old man on Wednesday.
The report thus corresponds to the first reports that were given about the star, where it was also stated that he died of a heart attack.

Maradona’s autopsy is said to have been carried out at the San Fernando hospital, north of Buenos Aires, between 7:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. on Wednesday night, local time.
Clear message for clinicians
Clarín further writes that Maradona’s family has given a clear message that no doctor was allowed to bring a mobile phone to the autopsy room, for fear that images of the deceased star would spread in the media and online.
Diego Maradona’s health had been failing for a long time, partly due to drug abuse and he recently suffered two heart attacks. It is also said that he had liver problems, writes the Argentine newspaper.

Just three weeks ago, the Argentine was hospitalized and operated on for a hemorrhage in the space between the brain and the skull.
He was released from the hospital on November 11.
According to Clarín, the family must have experienced that Maradona was nervous and restless in the last days of life. It is said that he was monitored by a nurse 24 hours a day and the family is said to have considered taking him back to Cuba, where he had previously been in rehab for his cocaine abuse.
The coffin arrived at the Presidential Palace
Maradona’s coffin arrived at the Presidential Palace in Buenos Aires on Thursday night. The stretcher should be stitched there.

Maradona died on Wednesday at the age of 60. The newspaper Clarín writes that the soccer icon was struck by cardiac arrest at his home in Tigre, a few kilometers north of the Argentine capital.
There he remained after being recently discharged from the hospital where he underwent surgery for a brain hemorrhage.
