The municipality of Trondheim has today decided to close the Leangen youth hall, Leangen Arena (ice rinks) and Leangenhallen (handball hall). The reason is that the users of the facilities have tested positive for covid-19. The municipality of Trondheim wrote in a press release Wednesday.

Nov. 16
The decision means that the Leangen ice rinks will be closed. The changing rooms and the sports hall inside the Leangen Stadium will also be closed. The facilities will be initially closed until Monday, November 16.
Leangen Bydelshall and the outdoor facilities of the Leangen Sports Park are kept open as normal.
During the closure period, the plant will be washed and disinfected.

Encourage testing
The municipality encourages everyone who has been at the facility this week to test approx. 7 days after the last visit, regardless of symptoms or not. Those with new symptoms such as fever, cough, shortness of breath, headache, lethargy, altered sense of smell or taste, muscle aches, or sore throat should stay home and contact the Infection Control Office at the municipality of Trondheim, tel. 905 09 052 (crown phone) for advice.
Those deemed quarantined will be contacted by the infection control office in the municipality of Trondheim.
