The trial against the men accused of the murder of Sigbjørn Sveli (44) in Regestranden in Sola, has been postponed because one of the judges is waiting for a response to a crown test.

The trial against the two 23-year-old men was supposed to start on Monday, but was postponed Sunday night pending the judge’s response to the test, Stavanger Aftenblad reports.

Possible storage reported

State Attorney Arvid Malde, who is also the prosecutor in the case, has made a reservation to file an arrest lawsuit for both defendants.

Experts have concluded that the men were sane at the time of the murder.

The 23-year-olds have previously admitted participating in violence against Sveli, but not criminally guilty of murder.

The men, both from Rogaland, had previously been convicted of serious violent crimes. They have been in custody since the arrest following the murder in December last year.
