A man in his 50s and his daughter in his 30s were stabbed at a private address in Namdalen on Wednesday night. Now the woman’s partner is accused.
Police moved out shortly before 1 p.m. Wednesday after receiving an emergency call about stabbing in the Overhalla township in Trøndelag.
At the scene, police found two injured people, a man in his 50s and his daughter in his 30s.
The man who was arrested after the incident is the woman’s partner. He is accused of mistreatment in close relationships, article 282 of the Penal Code.
The incident took place at the private address of the offended woman and the accused. Three children under the age of 18 were also present at the home when the incident occurred.

The perpetrator left the scene
During the emergency call, the police were informed that the perpetrator left the scene in a car. Three armed police patrols left and arrived at the scene 15 minutes later, along with ambulance personnel.
About half an hour later, the perpetrator was arrested at a gas station a few miles away. In connection with the arrest, the police had to use pepper spray.
Police drove behind the man prior to the arrest, and he is said to have driven into the center aisle and crashed into a sign before being arrested.
