A dead person has been found in the ruins of a hut that caught fire in Lillehammer on Sunday. The person is not formally identified.
Forensic scientists have examined a cabin that was completely damaged in a fire in Lillehammer early Sunday morning.
A man in his 50s was reported missing after the fire.
– A dead person has been found in the ruins. Identity has not been confirmed and an autopsy has been requested. Relatives of the missing person have been notified of the discovery, police report.
Three people were present in the cabin when the fire broke out. Two of them were sent to Lillehammer hospital and are still in treatment.

The third, the man in his 50s, has not been formally declared and still has a missing status.
Emergency services were notified of the fire around 6:20 a.m. on Sunday morning. When the fire department arrived, the cabin was already on fire and is now on fire.
– The crime scene has been investigated today and so far we have no information on the cause of the fire. An investigation has been opened to find out what happened, says COO Øyvind Bakken in the Innlandet police district.
