Wizz Air invests in Norway

[ad_1]

These are difficult times for the aviation industry around the world. Here in Norway, air traffic at Oslo Airport is down 60 percent compared to a normal year and they plan operations at half capacity during the fall and winter.

However, Wizz Air is one of the companies that appears to have performed well so far during the pandemic. They have already announced that they will open a new route this winter, Oslo-Saint Petersburg (first departure on December 15) – and in September they launched a new base and a significant investment in domestic flights in Italy.

Now it may appear that the Hungarian airline will make a similar national investment in Norway.

They have called a press conference on Tuesday at 1 p.m.

The invitation to the press conference states that the company “will announce the most anticipated network development of the decade in the Norwegian aviation market”, which in other words, translated into Norwegian means that they will. “Announce the most anticipated route development of the decade in the Norwegian aviation market.”

It has been announced that József Váradi, founder and CEO of Wizz Air, will speak during the press conference.

The case is updated with more details during the day.
