Odd wasted three safe points after spinning the wild Haugesund pickup: – Unforgivable – VG

After 87 minutes, Odd led all 4-1, but three quick goals from Haugesund meant he ended with a points split at Haugesund Stadium.

– This is unreal. We are in full control of the game, it seems the air has left Haugesund. Then they get a score and then we completely collapse. It is completely unforgivable. “It’s a shame on our part, and we can’t blame anyone else,” Odd’s coach Jan Frode Nornes tells VG.

– How can something like this happen?

Flipped before break

The home team continued to control most of the rest of the inning, and Odd didn’t create a single opportunity until 43 minutes had passed. But when it first crashed, it did it twice.

First, Elbasan Rashani was crossed by Espen Ruud, before putting the ball low in front of the goal. After clapping and babbling a bit, Robin Simovic passed the ball over the line and scored for his first start for the club.

In the extension of the first half, the tallest Swede was back in front. Rashani landed a corner kick to the back, where the 199cm tall Simovic headed the ball back onto the field. Bakenga stayed there, and the guests were given an easy task of leading 2-1.
