In a meeting of several hours with the police, the children of Anne-Elisabeth and Tom Hagen received an update on the murder case against their father.

The current meeting took place at the Lørenskog bailiff’s office on Thursday morning and came at the initiative of the Eastern Police District.

Key people in the management of the investigation, among others, were present at the office facilities. They wanted to inform the Hagen children about the status of the investigation, hypotheses, objectives, resources, and the progress of the case.

In addition, the police expressed their desire to conduct further questioning of them, something that they themselves have been negative about since Tom Hagen was arrested in April.

The Hagen children have criticized the police handling of the Lørenskog case and have previously stated that they believe the father is innocent.

They have also expressed concern that the police are wasting valuable time investigating the wrong man, and that no one is looking for his mother, Anne-Elisabeth Hagen, who has been missing since October 31, 2018.

This is the first meeting between the parties since the beginning of April this year.

– Today we participated in a meeting in which the police took the initiative. It was an informational meeting that we felt positive about, as there has not been an informational meeting for relatives since April 8, child welfare lawyer Ståle Kihle tells VG.

The attending attorney describes today’s meeting with the police as “pleasant” but that it did not change the Hagen children ‘s opinion on the case. They insist that the father is not behind this and that the police have tunnel vision in the investigation.

– We still do not trust the police in this investigation with Tom Hagen as the defendant, and there is currently nothing to indicate anything other than that we do not trust the police. We’ve been saying it all the time. We also haven’t gained trust now and have occasionally parked them on things, Kihle says.

– Can you elaborate?

– No, I do not want to go into details now or comment on the content or details of the meeting, answers the assistant lawyer.

Lack of trust in the police means that the Hagen children also do not want to go to further police interrogations. None of them have been questioned in the case since August last year. In lengthy interrogations, they were asked about the coexistence of their parents.
