STAVANGER (VG) (Viking – Aalesund 5-2) Two new goals from Zymer Bytyqi (24), three penalty kicks, fourth consecutive victory for Viking and seven goals were some of the ingredients when Viking beat Aalesund.
In his 200th match with Viking, Zymer Bytyqi once again became the greatest hero when Viking claimed his fourth victory in a row. With two goals, including another dream goal, he was a major contributor to Viking winning 5-2 at the Aalesund jumbo table.
– I’m in great shape. I dry off more and do what I’m good at. So it looks pretty cool. It probably wasn’t any better in the Elite Series. I don’t think so, Bytyqi tells VG.

For Aalesund, the crisis continues, and Lars Arne Nilsen had to see that it was his third consecutive loss as Sunnmøringen coach, Aalesund’s fifth in a row overall.

Aalesund fought back

Bolkan Nordli was in charge of taking the penalty and put the ball to the right. When Iven Austbø jumped the other way, the tie was a given.
In the final quarter of the round, it was suddenly the guests who created opportunities in Stavanger, and Isak Dybvik Määtä, Parfait Bizoza and Bolkan Nordli all had good chances to put Aalesund in the lead. Luckily for Viking, they had a good Austbø at the back, which made sure it was 1-1 at half-time.

In the second half, it was Viking who controlled the game, but had trouble getting through a deeply entrenched Aalesund team. After 65 minutes of play, Berisha had to leave the pitch due to a knee injury. He ran forward and headed low towards Bytyqi. There he was shot at the time of the shot, and Viking was punished.
Berisha shoved him hard into the net, so it didn’t matter that Andreas Lie was on the right track. The Viking forward’s 11th goal of the season ensured Viking regained the lead.

In extra time, Joe Bell also wanted to join the party, hitting a free kick from 20 meters up into the corner.
Thus, Viking rises to 25 points, while Aalesund remains at seven.
Next Sunday, Viking travels to Mjøndalen, while Aalesund receives a visit from Rosenborg.
