It takes a lot to postpone a game this season. At least if we are to believe the letter that was sent to the 20 clubs before the start of the series.
Premier League clubs have been informed that they will likely be forced to host league matches next season even if a corona infection breaks out in the stable.
The Daily Mail claims, claiming to have received access to a league association letter that was recently sent to all 20 top-division clubs in England.
The letter indicates that it takes a lot to postpone a Premier League match this season, and all postponement requests will be rejected as long as you have at least 14 players to sign up for a match team.

It can be a team of pure talent
Relying on the U21 squad is also required to meet the 14-player requirement, the newspaper writes.
The letter to the clubs states that all young people who have played a minute of senior football, whether in England or elsewhere, will be forced to fill out a squad if necessary.
Only when you don’t fill 14 men in a combat squad even with this method will it be considered a postponement, states the Daily Mail.
The reason for the strict requirement is that this season’s schedule is full as a result of the corona pandemic that led to the record series start. Soccer usually begins in England in August, but this season the first round of the series will not be played until September 12.
The Premier League management has yet to announce the results of the crown tests they have conducted at the 20 clubs, but it is already known that 14 players from 12 clubs have tested positive after their summer holidays around the world.
Can be point deduction
The Premier League will also reject requests for game postponements when the reason is that some of the players have violated the crown guidelines in any way. If it is self-inflicted, you have to bear the worst of it yourself, is the moral.
If a club does not present teams for any of the rounds, the Daily Mail writes that the league association will establish an independent committee to assess what the penalty will be in each case. It can be anything from fines to point deductions.
The consolation is that the Premier League’s requirements are softer than UEFA’s, which requires teams to be able to line up 13 men in a squad for the match to be completed. UEFA has also stated that teams that do not present a match team will automatically lose the match 0-3, but this has yet to be introduced in the Premier League.
Reigning champions Liverpool will host newly promoted Leeds at home at Anfield in the first round, scheduled for 12 September. Then they await tough games against Chelsea and Arsenal.
Otherwise the opening round looks like this:
Crystal Palace – Southampton, Fulham – Arsenal, Tottenham – Everton, West Bromwich – Leicester, West Ham – Newcastle, Brighton – Chelsea, Sheffield United – Wolverhampton.
