Swedish Expressen reports that the woman lost her life at Södersjukhuset in Stockholm on Monday.
It was the night between Friday and Saturday that she was offered what she thought was a normal beer at a party. She opened the bottle but immediately spit out what she had swallowed, according to the Swedish newspaper. After a short time, she lost consciousness and has been on a ventilator in hospital ever since.
Leaves two daughters
On Monday, they told the family that doctors could no longer detect any brain activity in her and that therefore her life could not be saved.

According to the newspaper, police traced the beer bottle to a civilian employee at the Haninge police station, south of Stockholm. He is said to have received it again from a colleague suspected of stealing the bottle from the station’s seizure chamber.
The prosecutor of the Swedish special unit for police affairs, Henrik Rasmusson, confirms to the newspaper that they have received a report on the matter, but will not comment further.
