The ability of Democrats to promise more COVID-19 relief under the Biden administration is largely tied to their success or failure in the Georgia Senate. The politics surrounding the $ 2,000 excitement check shows what’s to come if they lose.

“People in Congress are threatening to do everything in their power to stop their efforts,” he said.
Speaking separately at a campaign event in Georgia earlier this month, Byden said: “Are you ready to vote for two senators from the United States who know how to say ‘no’ and not just ‘no’?”
Some G.O.P. Lawmakers have already indicated they want to finalize the latest relief package.
