Lori Loughlin told daughter not to talk to high school counselor

Lori Loughlin and her husband Mossimo Giannulli instructed their daughter Olivia Jade not to talk to her ‘nosy b *****’ high school counselor after questioning her USC application where she falsely claimed to be a coxswain used to be.

The couple are awaiting sentencing for paying $ 500,000 to get their daughters to California high school as part of a bribery scheme carried out by mastermind Rick Singer. It engaged them in creating fake athlete profiles for the girls and presenting them as rigid rowers.

The pair pleaded guilty to shipping costs earlier this year. Prosecutors demand that Mossimo be jailed for five months and that Lori serve two months.

In a sentencing note filed Thursday in Massachusetts court, prosecutors again described how the couple cheated on the system.

They showed how particularly angry Mossimo was about the fellow adviser, who doubted Olivia Jade’s request, calling him a ‘nosy b ***** d’. Lori later called him a ‘weasel’. The adviser is not named.

In January 2018, prosecutors claim, the couple and Olivia Jade were in talks about the risk of the adviser ‘disrupting their scheme’.

‘When her daughter asked if she should list USC as her school of choice, Loughlin replied,’ Yes. . . . But it could be a flag for the weasel to mediate, ” the documents claim.

Giannulli added: “F[***] him, ‘and remarked that the counselor was a’ nosy b **** d ‘. Loughlin then instructed her daughter, ‘Do not say too much to that man. ”

Three months later, after she was ‘flagged’ as a recruiter for the school’s crew, the adviser intervened, telling USC officials that he had no knowledge of her ever being involved in the sport.

“From what I knew from her video blogging scheme, she strongly doubted she was involved with crew,” he said, referring to her lucrative YouTube account, where she made money through makeup tutorials videos.

Giannulli confronted the counselor and ‘aggressively’ asked him what he had told USC about his daughters.

‘[He] asked why [the counselor] tried to ruin or get in the way of their chances, ‘the documents claim.

Lori also told Olivia Jade ‘not to say too much’ about her applications.

In an email to his accountant, Mossimo described cheating the system to get the girls into school.

‘Good news mine [older] daughter [ ] is in [U]SC. . . min [news] is I had to work the system, ‘he said in one.

In another he asked: ‘The last college’ donation ‘for [my younger daughter]. Can’t I write this off? ‘in reference to a payment of $ 200,000 he made.

The couple will be sentenced on August 21.

They both pleaded not guilty at first, risking 40 years behind bars, while other accused parents – including Felicity Huffman – hastily accepted plea bargains.

Earlier this year, the couple suddenly switched their farm. They also tried to rave about the conviction, sparking speculation that they were hoping the COVID-19 pandemic would keep them out of jail.

Prosecutors also alleged on Monday that Giannulli deserved a tougher sentence than his wife because he played an active role in the conspiracy, even ‘brazenly lying’ to one of his daughter’s school advisers about her athletic skills.

‘Loughlin took a less active role, but was nevertheless completely complicated, putting Singer in for a second time for her younger daughter, coaching her daughter to say’ not too much ‘against the legitimate college adviser of her high school,’ wrote the prosecutors.
