Tomas Dimša, who belongs to Kaunas “Žalgiris”, will continue his career in Italy.
The Treviso Basket team announced the addition of the 27-year-old Lithuanian.
Last season, the Kaunas representative represented the Las Palmo de Gran Canaria team and recorded 10.2 points (47 percent trit.), 2.4 assists, 1.6 grabs and 7.8 utility points in the European Cup.
In the Spanish ACB championship, the defender scored 7 points (30% trit.), 1.4 assists, 1.5 rebounds and 3.5 utility points.
At the Olympic qualifying tournament in Kaunas wearing the Lithuanian national team jersey, Dimša stepped onto the parquet four times and recorded 3.5 points and 1.5 utility score indicators.
The Treviso club ranked sixth in the regular season of the Italian championship last season, and in the first playoff round they fell 0-3 to champion Bologna Virtus.
Treviso’s team will play in the Champions League playoffs next season, where they will meet the Lions team in London in the first round.
