Since Friday, COVID-19 tests were conducted again on Monday for Kaunas Žalgiris team members in self-isolation. All the tests were negative.
The test was not performed on the only Rokas Jokubaitis, who is feeling fine but has not yet fully recovered from his illness last week.
On Wednesday, Žalgiris’ team will be tested again, after which the results will determine the fate of the match with Real Madrid. The matches of the seventh round of the Euroleague should be played on Friday, November 6 at the Žalgiris Arena.
Meanwhile, three positive cases of COVID-19 were recorded in the Kaunas youth team “Žalgiris”. Players, coaches and team personnel have been in isolation since last Friday.
In recent weeks, representatives of the youth team have not had contact with the players and staff of the main team.
