The artist said that he rarely visits clubs and consciously chooses where to spend his free time: “I like interesting and non-routine events where you can experience more than just a regular disco or bar.”
Currently, Yuri’s pace of life is very high: Yuri spends his working hours in the office, in the afternoons in the studio, recording his second album. After returning from the studio at around ten o’clock, he is still in a hurry to play sports, he usually spends his weekends very actively in nature, and from November the artist plans to join the activities of the riflemen: I want to fully feel what life can bring and not miss anything. “
– In preparation for the interview with you, I learned that your day is very busy and full of various activities. Performing on stage is far from your only occupation. How do you manage to combine different activities at first glance?
– Actually, it doesn’t matter how banal it sounds, but whenever you want, you can do it all. I spend time from eight to five in the office, where I work a bit boring but I enjoy working in IT. Then, from six to ten, I work in the studio. When I come back, I sneak out to run and then it’s time to sleep.
On weekends, I spend time with a girl or travel to the woods, where we practice shotgun with like-minded people. I am looking forward to November, when the shooters will begin, to which I want to contribute as soon as possible. Due to the quarantine, all the processes have been stopped, but I have already attached all the documents and I am waiting for the moment of the oath.

– You don’t have to go to work from eight to five or just create and perform music. You somehow want to get as many different ideas as possible from different activities. Because you need it?
– When you do a lot of things in life, you don’t think you are missing something. The more activities I have, the more interesting and complete life seems. I want to enlighten myself completely. For example, my interest in war, love for Lithuania and the desire to be prepared for any unfavorable situation prompted me to get involved in the activities of the shooters. Svaras from the G&G Syndicate spoke highly of the shooters’ activities.
His thought, with which I fully agree, was that when the moment came, he didn’t want to be a throwback. I also want to know how to behave in different situations in life. How should I behave and what should I be? At the same time, various extreme experiences and situations allow you to get to know yourself better, and life also seems more interesting. It’s not my way of spending boring days, going on vacation somewhere where everything is included, then going back to the same routine again and complaining to the television at night about how things are going.
– What advice would you give to people who work all day and say they don’t want to do anything? Where do you get the energy and inspiration to do more and live more interestingly?
– Very simple thing. First of all, you need to go to bed earlier. Instead of watching Netflix at night, it’s better to go for a run, stop drinking coffee in the morning, and life will definitely begin. Everything will be displayed in much brighter colors. And more energy and the desire to do something and change lives will emerge. On the other hand, you have to understand for yourself that repetitive situations bore you and that you want to change something.
In my opinion, monotony is a dangerous thing that will make life go by without even realizing it. Of course, for some people, these life scenarios are adequate and the monotony relaxes them in some way. There will always be those who do something and those who sit in front of the television in the evenings and complain that it is difficult and that they do nothing after work.

– Are you thinking of going out to town? Get together with friends?
– Really rare. This thing I have really neglected. Yes, I travel to the city, but that outing is usually to have dinner in the city with friends. I’m not a fan of alcohol, I don’t go to clubs. In fact, you would rarely see me in a nightclub with a cocktail in hand. Probably almost never. I just go for a different kind of leisure because it just makes me sad to hear about spending time at the club.
– As for Le Diner en Blanc. Have you ever felt the spirit of this white picnic?
This event seems very interesting to me, it is a great distraction from everyday life. Because when you come you see that it is white everywhere. Everyone is in disguise. I like events that are unusual and that don’t happen every day. In a way, it is an event. And knowing that I am part of such an event makes me feel good.
– You are currently working on your second album. What will you say with your songs from the second album? What message will you send?
– The album is quite diverse. I try to write funny songs, but for some reason it all ends up talking about broken hearts (laughs – aut. Past). When I believe, I find myself not knowing where sadness comes from. As soon as you hear the first note, the words flow like this. There are fictional characters, situations, and sometimes I get all of this out of myself.
– Where does this sadness come from? Is this fiction? Is it from inside you?
– Part – fiction. Part of my life. I really enjoy conveying my feelings through creativity. I want what I convey to people to be personal. I really think there are songs about nothing and I really need them, but I like to put my feelings and myself into creating.
– What style will your album be?
– The whole album is created based on synthwave and dark wave style. Last year when we started creating the album, I knew the album direction would be synthwave. Today, apparently, everyone started playing songs of this style, but when we started creating, the popularity of this style was not there yet.
For years I explored the idea of the album, now about a year we create and record songs and by the end of the year the new synthwave the album will see the light.
– And what show are you planning to do during Le Diner en Blanc?
– The program will definitely be very diverse. We will definitely not bother people with sad songs. There will be some synthwave, a bit of acoustics. There will also be songs of my own, as well as works by other artists. I’m really not afraid to sing songs by other artists, which I like and can present in my own way. I find this interesting.
