“I’ll just remind you that there is such a resolution from the Seimas Board, which requires that we all wear masks in the Seimas plenary hall. I see at least two Seimas members who don’t wear masks: V.Ąžuolas and D. Kepenis: We know that there are some exceptions where masks cannot be used for medical reasons.
I am not going to examine the situation with the mentioned members of the Seimas now, I am simply requesting the Ethics and Procedures Commission of the Seimas to examine this fact and present the pertinent conclusions ”, announced J. Razma during the morning session of the Seimas. .
We remind you that the Seimas Board of Directors adopted a resolution that during Seimas sessions, parliamentarians must wear protective masks, unless they speak on the rostrum or cannot wear the masks for medical reasons.
Should everyone provide information about vaccines?
For his part, Remigijus Žemaitaitis, a member of the Lithuanian Regional Faction, also proposed that the members of the Seimas make public information on whether they have been vaccinated against the coronavirus or have contracted it or not.
“As you know, all members of the Seimas who need to provide information about whether they have a vaccine, a passport or PCR tests have been consulted. As chairman, you must ask the Ethics and Procedures Commission of the Seimas that all members of the Seimas Seimas make public if they have been vaccinated or have a passport of opportunity.
Then we will see how many there are really members of the Seimas who do not agree and that is something welcome, because it is their will, their perception and those who have it. It will be enough to manipulate these things. Because today there are 24 members of the Seimas who have not provided information on how they have decided to continue living in Lithuania ”, urged R. Žemaitaitis.
Mr. Razma congratulated his colleague on such a proposal, but said there was nothing he could do about it.
“I believe that the members of the Seimas listened to the wise proposal of R. Žemaitaitis. I do not have the formal right to demand that the members of the Seimas make the above information public, but I hope that everyone has listened and acts accordingly,” expected the vice president of the Seimas.
