And cashiers note that the number of tourists is not decreasing either, because they seem to be concerned with the unique nature, not the electricity.
“Electricity does not mean anything. The man is not going to heat the coffee, but to sunbathe. So that people continue working,” says the cashier at the Antanas Katėnas stall.

“Will run service, fuel will continue to contribute, and the unit itself does not have a high rental price. We have no other choice because there are many freezers where products are stored. People still want to eat something, but they can have coffee, ”says Ričardas Kauneckas, the owner of the cafe.
Some generators are not very powerful, so some of the work in cafes and shops has stagnated, others will be waiting for hungry tourists when there is electricity.
“Hot soups will come to eat, and we’ll see more in the fall what the results will be like after such a spring and summer,” says M. Berletienė.

Specialists from Energijos Skirstymo Operatorius (ESO) completed the work of changing the line on the Curonian Spit, connecting the Juodkrante and Klaipėda transformer faster than promised, so electricity on the peninsula did not appear at 4 pm, as it was scheduled but at 2 pm
Delphi Remember that early on Monday morning at the Curonian Spit the electricity supply was interrupted for ten hours due to the repair of the electrical network.
ESO has previously announced that the Juodkrante transformation substations in Klaipėda at Mariai and Curonian Spit will be shut down during the works, as a result of which there will be no technical possibilities to supply electricity at Curonian Spit.
Electricity The Curonian Spit is reached by the 110 kV high-voltage Litgrid power line running over the Curonian Lagoon, therefore, to achieve long-term reliability, according to ESO, it is necessary to update the connections of the energy substations to the transmission network.
