Lost after a duel
After the second round of the Seimas elections, it became clear that Gediminas Vasiliauskas, representative of the Union of Greens and Peasants of Lithuania (LVŽS), would no longer be in the Seimas. In the single-member electoral district of Petrašiūnai-Gričiupis, he landed for the conservative Kazys Starkevičius and did not enter parliament with the party list.
Another representative of LVŽS Aušra Papirtienė was also unlucky. In the electoral district of Kalniečiai, the current MP landed for the conservative Arvydas Anušauskas and did not enter the Seimas. Darius Kaminskas, who currently works in the LVŽS faction, was also unlucky in the Kėdainiai district. In the second round of the Seimas elections, this parliamentarian was elected by Tomas Bičiūnas, representative of the Lithuanian Social Democratic Party (LSDP), and was prevented from entering the Seimas.

Arūnas Gumuliauskas, a representative of the LVŽS, who dropped off LSDP candidate Liudas Jonaitis in the western constituency of Žiemgala, is also leaving the Seimas.
Raimundas Martinėlis, former representative of the LVŽS and TS-LKD factions, who did not stand out, will not enter the new Seimas. In the eastern Sėla constituency, the politician landed for Vidmantas Kanopa, a representative of the LSDP.
Rimantas Sinkevičius, representative of the Lithuanian Social Democratic Labor Party (LSDDP) and current Minister of Economy and Innovation, is also finishing his political career. In the Jonava constituency, the politician was downgraded to LSDP representative Eugenijus Sabutis, and the LSDDP list did not cross the 5 percent barrier.

Kęstutis Smirnovs, the representative of LVŽS, will also have to say goodbye to Seimas. In the Vilkaviškis electoral district, he failed to surpass the former prime minister, the representative of the Lithuanian green parties, Algirdas Butkevičius.
It was already clear after the first electoral round
After the first round of the Seimas elections, it has already become clear that we will no longer see several well-known politicians in parliament.
2017 Gediminas Kirkilas and her colleagues, who split from the Lithuanian Social Democratic Party (LSDP) led by Gintautas Paluckas, suffered a fiasco. Renowned members of the Lithuanian Labor and Social Democratic Party (LSDDP) remained behind these elections. The party led by G. Kirkilas collected 3.17 percent. votes and did not exceed 5 percent. cartels.
Party chairman Gediminas Kirkilas, who ran in the Vilnius Fabijoniškės constituency, received 844 votes and remained sixth in the single-member position.

Rimantas Jonas Dagys and Mantas Adomėnas, former members of the TS-LKD party, did not join this Seimas either.
Irina Rozova also did not smile at the electoral success this time, she has been working at the Seimas intermittently since 2006, she has recently received accusations about ties with Russia, but the accusation initiated has not been implemented. We will no longer see Naglis Puteikis, who has been a member of the Seimas since 2008.
For Povilas Urbšis, these elections to the Seimas were also unsuccessful. He was a member of the western district of Panevėžys, he worked at the Seimas for two periods, from 2012 to 2020. He was third in the single-member.
