According to the authors of the list, this year the travelers chose the most beautiful Christmas tree in Vilnius on the basis of the fir versions of the last two years.
This happened because the green curtain on the Cathedral Square had not yet lit when the voting began, and “COVID-19 made it difficult for tourism professionals who worked from home to collect photos of all the Christmas trees in 2020 in so little weather”.
“This is the most beautiful Christmas tree in Europe,” wrote “European Best Destinations” about the illuminated Christmas tree in Vilnius.
Instead of inviting the masses to Christmas town like before, this year was designed to be admired from a distance.
Its exterior is modern, but the traditional tree inside the facility shows that, despite the changes caused by the pandemic, the Christmas spirit remains the same, ”he continues.
