A surprise and musical greeting was held at V. Landsbergis’ home in Užupis. The choir sang “The Longest Year” for the teacher and, to his surprise, accentuated the oak tree growing nearby.
“Good people planted this oak for me. Look, it is a commitment to you, when I am not there, take care of it so that handlers do not come to cut the tree ”, said the professor to the audience.
When asked how he was feeling, Vytautas Landsbergis admitted that everything was going well.
“And how can I feel when there is a company like this,” laughed the professor. “Once upon a time people came and planted this oak, now you’ve come.”
V. Landsbergis revealed that he worked at home during self-isolation.
