Vilnius reminds: what safety requirements must be observed in public transport

At peak traffic stops, transit controllers will regulate passenger movement and, if necessary, number of passengers during rotations during east and west peaks, in order to ensure safe distance requirements. The controllers will not work at all, but in some of the most intense stops at the same time, therefore, the passengers themselves are asked not to get on the bus or trolley when they see the seats occupied, to wait for the next one.

At public transport stops, passengers are reminded of specially marked places: white circular symbols with visible icons on the feet and the inscription “safe”, which are marked at stops in Vilnius where the largest passenger entries are recorded . There will be an additional 20 stops at the stops, which will also remind you to wear protective masks while waiting for public transport.

Every bus and trolley bus is disinfected twice a day, after the morning rush hour, and the next time in public transport parks, after work hours.
