Vilnius Mayor Advisor Kristinas Taukačikas and Raimonda Karalienė were married in Nida.

The wedding of K.Taukačikas and R.Karalienė took place on Friday in Nida, in an unexpected place: at Thomas Mann’s house, where the museum is located.

“We love Nida and Juodkrante very much, we are often there; these are our favorite places where we spend our summers, so there were no questions about where to get married,” he added. People.lt K. Taukačikas said.

The man says that the weather in Nida did not spoil him on the day of the vacation, but it did not overshadow the good mood and pleasant sensations.

“We got messages on the phones of the fire protection and rescue department to protect things and everything else, but everything went well, the wind did not blow us away,” said K.Taukačikas with a smile.

“The sea was cold, it was beautiful and romantic,” he adds.

The newlyweds chose an unusual vehicle for their celebration – a tuk tuk taxi. These are two or three-seater motorcycles that circulate in Nida.

“We chose eco-friendly transportation because we wanted to have a fun ride around Nida,” smiles Kristinas.

The newlyweds mentioned the wedding in a narrow circle of close and good friends, welcoming, usually without much noise.

When asked if the couple plan to go on their honeymoon, K. Taukačikas laughed that a wedding trip was planned – Vilnius.

“There’s a lot of work ahead of us, so we’re not planning anything more serious. We allow ourselves to travel a bit more in the summer, so the honeymoon was held early. The couple have been together for eleven years, but the marriage, they say, was still a special step in the relationship between the two.
