Officials from the Vilnius District Environmental Inspectorate immediately responded to the information that appeared on Facebook. During the investigation, the person who dumped the garbage in the forest and had to collect the waste was identified.

“In this case, the offender was traced because the civilians provided the car numbers. At first, he denied the violation, but in the end he confessed and was held administratively responsible for it,” says Žydrė Majauskaitė, head of the Protection Inspectorate. Vilnius Environment.
