The aim of the contest is to ensure transparency in the selection of merchants, as well as to define the range of products sold by promoting the sale of traditional products, folklore and handicrafts, paintings, works of art, souvenirs representing Lithuania or other cities.
The municipality wants the temporary commercial facilities installed in Vilnius Old Town to be orderly and maintained, and also wants to ensure competitive conditions for economic activities.
Trade in non-food products from (since) temporary installation in the territory near Pilies and Didšosios str. the winner (s) of the intersection selection contest will be able to negotiate for five years. Trade in non-food products is allowed: traditional products, folk arts and crafts, souvenirs representing Lithuania, Vilnius or other cities, as well as works of art.
The winner of the tender must submit a marketing authorization application at the winning location no later than 4 months after the decision on the approval of the tender results comes into force.
The marketing authorization at the winning location is issued for a period of 1 year, for which a local fee of EUR 516 (five hundred and sixteen) is paid.
Bidders with local toll rates, which were approved by the Vilnius City Council in 2014. January 29 by decision no. 1-1657 is available at https://aktai.vilnius.lt/document/30235763.
If the City Council approves new local toll rates from those approved during the organization of this tender, the new toll rates will be applied.

Bidders must present the required documents listed in Clause 17 of the Bidding Regulations in the sealed envelope in accordance with the requirements set forth in clauses 15-17 within the timeframes specified in this announcement (the envelope must not contain any markings that allow identify the bidder).
The envelope must be marked: “Trade in non-food products from (from) temporary installation in the territory near Pilies and Didšosios str. intersection selection contest ”.
The envelope must contain the following documents:
- – completed application (annex to the regulations);
- – copies of the documents proving the qualification of the participants: certificate of the master of national heritage products or crafts, certificate of membership of the Union of Lithuanian Folk Artists, certificate of membership of the Union of Lithuanian Artists, artist certificate (If any);
- – a copy of the payment order confirming the transfer of a guarantee deposit of 400 (four hundred) euros to the account of the Municipal Administration (code 188710061) LT64 4010 0510 0360 9875, located at Luminor Bank AB (code 40100), to guarantee the validity of the public offer;
- – a document that certifies the representation in accordance with the requirements of the legal acts, if the offer is presented by the representative of the tenderer.

The envelopes with bids will be opened in 2021. March 25 10 a. M. 15 minutes. remotely on the Zoom platform.
