The press release reports that stores such as Esprit, Etam, Geox, Salamander, Hiking Shoes, Step Top, XS Toys, Maxima, Hermitage are already available here. And Eurovaistinė, and many more brands will join soon.
The cooperation with Akropolis will allow to complete the list of TROBOS stores every week and have more than 50 stores in the range in spring. According to Karolis Lesickas, director of the company TROBOS, this is a new standard of online commerce, one of whose most important characteristics is the extremely fast delivery of goods.
“Buyers can buy different categories of products in one payment and receive the same delivery, as if they had just visited the Acropolis or another shopping center. For the convenience of buyers, the return of the merchandise is also done without leaving home: the courier will come to pick it up free of charge ”, he says.
Currently, buyers can visit the TROBOS.LT website and it will be possible to download the smart app in the near future.
The whole supermarket, on one page
According to K. Lesickas, the idea of creating a virtual shopping center, where it is possible to comfortably buy and receive different categories of products at the same time, was inspired by the buyers themselves. It is true that the start of the trade was scheduled for later, but it was decided to advance it due to the emergency situation in the country.
“Life did not stop when the pandemic started, so we want to give Lithuanians the opportunity to shop safely and comfortably. As most traders are not yet physically able to operate at this time, we will also help them to resume their operations and recover faster. Taking into account these circumstances, we decided to start our activities earlier than planned, and with each week TROBOS.LT will be complemented with new brands, a range and growing functionality, which we will adapt according to the needs and desires of the customer ”, promises the manager of the company.
He points out that this project brings new winds to the country’s retail market, offering a more convenient shopping experience and at the same time filling a niche that remains in the retail sector.
“We have clearly seen a trend of increasing consumer demand for goods quickly and conveniently. Until now, no online trading platform in Lithuania has been able to offer the purchase of different product segments, when you could get everything from a dress, shoes and cosmetics to your favorite fruit or household items in one delivery time. . Furthermore, in order to offer not only a wide range of recognized and reliable brands for everyone, during the start-up we cooperated with companies that have their own stores in Akropolis, continues K. Lesickas.
Until now, the goods are delivered within the Vilnius city limits.
At the moment, the products purchased on the mentioned platform are delivered only within the city of Vilnius. According to K. Lesickas, buyers from all over Lithuania will be able to order products from TROBOS.LT this year, and the goal set for residents of Kaunas and Klaipėda is to deliver the products the same day.
The authors of the project plan to start in the near future in the Latvian capital Riga.
The company’s couriers deliver the purchased merchandise every day, Monday through Sunday, from 12:00 to 21:00.
“The buyer can choose the time interval in which he wishes to receive the goods at the specified address. Our goal is to deliver purchases the same day, depending on the time of the order. Therefore, buyers should not be surprised that just a few hours after ordering, our courier can knock on the door, ”says K. Lesickas of the company’s desire to deliver the goods as soon as possible.
It adds that buyers who do not like the products can return them free of charge within 14 calendar days after the delivery date. In this case, the buyer will only have to call a courier to pick it up through the TROBOS system, and this service is free.
“We want to inform those seeking new career opportunities that TROBOS is ready to hire new employees in its team, so those who want to join this project should not delay,” says K. Lesickas.
TROBOS is a virtual space for quick shopping that allows the buyer to transfer their shopping habits from physical stores to a single website that can be accessed from a computer or smartphone. Currently the company offers services in Vilnius and will soon open virtual doors in Kaunas, Klaipėda and Šiauliai. The company belongs to the Vilniaus Prekyba group of companies.
