As March 8, International Women’s Day, approaches on the LNK television show “I Kiss. Rūta ”, the scandalous politician did not deny his words.
“Man and woman have their own nature. Who in the family has to give birth to children who must breastfeed? And if a woman has to do these things according to her purpose, then the question is: when will she be able to pursue a career? Professionals do not fulfill their natural duties ”, affirms the politician.
The MEP also spoke about women in the highest positions of government: “I want Victoria Čmilyte-Nielsen to succeed in her work as president of Seimas, but she will not yet be able to fully fulfill her functions as a mother, children I will miss her.”
Viktor says he likes Ingrid Šimonytė as a person, according to a press release. According to him, the Prime Minister has dedicated her entire life to her career and is not divided between work and family: “I am not against women who have no family, pursue a career or hold high positions.”
V. Uspaskich does not skimp on the criticism of the former president of the country Dalia Grybauskaitė and claims that she is one of the most unhappy women in Lithuania.
This Thursday night, at 8 pm, at the LNK show “Kissing. Rūta ”will also be visited by women who have reached impressive professional heights. One of them, former prosecutor, judge and now lawyer Aušra Ručienė, surprises with her courage to speak about what many women tend to keep silent about.
“I work 24 hours a day and I am a woman who is homeless. I always had a housekeeper, babysitters, because work was very important to me, ”says the lawyer. The mother of two daughters admits she left one of her daughters with a babysitter for just one day. “I gave birth late at night and was already standing in the courtroom in the morning because there was a hearing.”
Izolda Gudelis, one of the most elegant women in Lithuania, says that she has been working since she was 17 years old. The woman is now the marketing director of a large cosmetics and perfume company. When Rūta Mikelkevičiūtė, the host of the show, asked her why it is so important for her to work, because she could only enjoy life, Izolda assures that she simply could not work.
“Oh, and my husband would not be with an inactive woman. The most important thing in a relationship is not to become invisible, it is necessary to be a full partner who can inspire a man,” says Izolda Gudelis.
Izolda is also supported by lawyer Aušra Ručienė. Although she entrusted her daughters to babysitters and raised them in an unconventional way, she instilled extremely valuable lessons.
“I love my family very much, but I gave my girls completely different lessons. I taught them not to marry well, but to pursue a career and be financially responsible for themselves. Because I have a bitter practice in my work when a rich man approaches a woman who does nothing and suddenly a man falls in love with another woman – younger, more beautiful or more intelligent, and the first wife is left with nothing ” says the lawyer.
However, after open career confessions, MEP Viktor Uspaskich did not change his mind. He claimed that his marriage to businessman Jolanta Blažyte had failed because he had not protected his wife from leadership.
“The natural fulfillment of a man is to make a woman happy. It must protect women from leadership, from decision-making. And when a man makes a woman happy, he begins to realize it. And then, according to the structure of the universe, a woman begins to nourish a man with energy, to awaken masculinity and leadership in him ”.
