“It will no longer be presented (to the Government – BNS), other proposals will be made,” he said at a press conference on Friday.

“We have not yet formulated clear proposals. Most likely, it is proposed to establish a certain area per person who visits the institution, and that area should be calculated for the place where people stay and spend their time. (…) But until it is offered, it is only a preliminary offer, ”said A. Veryga.

The minister adds that so far the idea of limiting the opening hours in discos and bars has been abandoned, since the Government has not accepted the proposal.

“The government (the proposal to reduce the working hours of public catering establishments – ELTA) did not support it, which will not be presented at the moment. (…) It has been suggested that other measures be taken and, if those other measures do not work, return to the time limit. Those other measures have yet to be taken, “the minister said.

The government on Wednesday rejected a proposal to limit the opening hours of cafes, clubs and casinos. Prime Minister Saulius Skvernelis has announced that he will take a different path: he is planning to establish more stringent security requirements, including limiting the number of people.
