In the first qualifying of the season in Bahrain, the best result was recorded and pole position was won by Red Bull driver Max Verstappen. Holland almost 0.4 sec. it overtook Lewis Hamilton, the remaining Mercedes dealership, for second place. This will be the first time since 2014 that the first non-Mercedes driver of the season will start the race from pole.
Verstappen was the fastest in all his workouts this weekend. The Netherlands did not lack speed and qualifying races. In the final part, after the athletes made it through the first few laps, M. Verstappen took the lead. But the Dutchman at the time outscored Hamilton by just 0.023 seconds.

But Verstappen improved his British score by 0.388 seconds at the end of his qualifying. and won a pole position.
In the second row of starting, the positions were shared by the second Mercedes driver, Valtteri Bottas, and the Ferrari team representative Charles Leclerc. And for a time, the former third Pierre Gasly finally finished the races fifth.
The sixth and seventh starting places went to the McLaren team drivers. In the first season, a new teammate, Lando Norris, was overtaken by new team member Daniel Ricciardo.
Fernando Alonso, who returned to the sport after a two-year hiatus, won his ninth starting position. And Aston Martin driver Lance Stroll finished in the top ten.
