Acting Prime Minister Saulius Skvernelis said the previously set MMA amount of € 642 should be maintained for next year.
“We take the position that what has been agreed must be implemented,” Skvernell said after the government meeting.
Zita Sorokienė, president of the Lithuanian Association of Small Entrepreneurs and Traders (LSVPA), told Eltai that the new size of MMA is not suitable for the income that entrepreneurs currently receive.
The unions had previously said that the MMA should be increased to 663 euros and asked for a decision to be made earlier.
MMA has risen to € 607 on paper and € 437 in cash since this year.
