Online shopping center Varl.lt is giving up some logistics and warehousing partners and a new warehouse is being built.

We want to completely control the goods delivery process, to guarantee the quality of service to our customers. We made that decision due to the limitations of the logistics and warehouse partners: during the quarantine, the number of orders increased to a record level and the partners could no longer manage their quality, delayed, lost or delivered a second time or not what the customers asked. There was a lot of chaos. Although now the number of orders on the Internet has decreased, but the quality of the work of the partners has not improved, the reason for taking such a decision is the decision of Marius Butauskas, Commercial Director of Varl.lt.

After investigating which logistics partner is rejected, M. Butauskas clarifies that the main problems are the storage partners and product selection, so these processes will be controlled by the company itself when the new warehouse is moved, and the alliance with Omniva LT , DPD Lietuva, etc. It will be considered.

We are implementing a new IT system that will speed up warehouse work and help deliver goods more quickly.

The new Varl.lt warehouse has an area of ​​approximately 1,500 m2. m of area, it will contain around 100,000 goods or 1.5 million. EUR. According to the decision, Varl.lt invests about 44,000 Eur.

A separate area will be dedicated to the market for the sale of goods.

Varl.lt will also open three stores in September: the first two have already opened in Jurbarkas and in the eyes, and on Friday the doors will open in Ilalje. In total, there will be 18 Varl.lt stores in Lithuania. It is planned to open 20 by the end of the year.
