V. Simulikas said that he is lying in bed, consulting a family doctor on the phone and receiving medical treatment.

V. Simulikas reported symptoms of the disease on his Facebook account on Thursday. Then he said the temperature had risen to 38.2 degrees, coughing. It was tested on the night of the same day.

V.Simulikas, nominated by the “Peasants”, participates in the elections of the Seimas, fights for a mandate in a single-member constituency of Saulė. After being isolated, he has not had the opportunity to actively participate in the election campaign in recent days.

V. Simulikas participated in the session of the Seimas on Tuesday, Wednesday, in the session of the Human Rights Committee of the Seimas. During the meeting, the parliamentarian used a medical mask, but in an irregular way: the mask did not cover the nose.
